totally in love with Hongkong! probably because of the damn cheap (not really THAT cheap) & nice stuffs (freaking good!) there. i'd a hard time deciding. i can almost buy the whole Tsim Sha Tsui & Mongkok. HAHAHA!
Some of the food wasn't impressive though. especially the milk tea; it was very normal. i'd expected it to be good. the Dim Sum was exceptionally good! cheap + filling. Dim Sum was supposed to be just alright but that day all of us almost couldn't walk back to hotel after that meal.
ohoh! there is one thing definitely better than Singapore (in my own opinion). the girls working there are mostly good looking. so pleasant looking + nice features = woohoo! the sales girls & even those who works at Starbucks (they have all the pretty girls) or McDonald's.
lets start with DAY 1
The 6 Naval Divers before boarding the train @ Terminal 3
While on the flight to HK..
the air steward/stewardess for United Airlines were really friendly. probably because 6 botaks on a trip are so cool that they can't resist talking to us. HAHAHA! they even gave each of us 1 free "United Airlines Air-Borne" Badge. it was exclusive for adults cause' its meant for kids and lastly, air steward Lawrence told us "you guys gotta protect our country." HAHAHA! hooya!
HongKong Airport was quite a complex place. gotta take train from Arrival Hall to Express Train Station and from then to Kowloon Station for free shuttle bus to our Hotel; Kowloon Hotel.
the streets of HongKong..
the simple Day 1.. Eat & shop & eat & shop
the happy shopper!
Day 2 Morning - Early Dim Sum
(pictures are in sequence)
walked to Chao Inn for Dim Sum for the early morning good deal. 50% for ALL Dim Sums and so, we overdid it. the food was too much for us. as soon as the food were served, we just stuffed everything onto our mouth. look at the last picture, Andrew is dying from all the food. HAHA! but all the foods we consumed was digested equally fast from all the walkings.
the cool thing about this trip is the walkings we did. we walked from places to places without getting lost at all despite the first time there. one thing which HongKong is lack of are the toilets the can provide. they hardly got any around the streets and even at the shopping centres!
Ocean Terminal
Day 2 - Night Chillout @ Lan Kwai Fong
i looked as if somebody punced me on my face for 1000times. freaking swollen!
Day 3 - Mongkok A.K.A Women Street (女人街) & Chic @ 堡
TAKE 1.. "SMILE MORE LA!"
TAKE 2.. "NICE SHOT!"
my hongkong girlfriend..
HAHAHAHA! no la. she's one of the sales girl from one of the shops i bought.thats the only pictures i took for day 3. i was too busy shopping until i bought from this (cute)lady which is the last shop i went in. decided to take a picture as a momento.
Chic @ 堡 is a damn good small shopping centre. i swear to drop by again! all the tees are value for money & its air conditioned (the streets are very hot).
DAY 4 - LAST DAY @ HongKong
Typhoon Signal 8 was given out. No shops were open. Most eateries are closed. we aren't done with the shopping. damn disappointed.
we just walked around aimlessly until we decided to catch a movie before heading to Airport. caught "The Mummy; Tomb of the Dragon Emperor". the show was boring. wouldn't recommend watching. Story line was inconsistent.
ready to leave HongKong & go back home! this holiday was a bit short but it was a definitely worth while trip. i'm loooooking forward to go back for holiday again. another thing about HongKong people is, they like & enjoy talking to a bunch of botak heads guys. HAHAHA! so the next time i go back i must shave botak again.
& below are SOME of the damages from my trip. there's still alot more. 2dozens of donuts, 4 boxes of Wife Biscuit, 30+ pieces of clothings, a pair of Jack Purcell, a pair of berms & a mahjong set.
thanks HongKong!!
